Living inside history

A stay at Villa Giusso

At Villa Giusso, you breathe an atmosphere of a past time. Here, the rooms, equipped with private bathrooms, have the charm of the past, with antique furniture and wrought iron beds.

Classic Room

Intimate and welcoming rooms

Perfect for those seeking a cozy retreat. Scalinatella Room – An enveloping nest, with exposed beams that evoke alpine atmospheres. From the window set in the arch, you can admire the olive trees and the Lattari Mountains, “the Vicane Dolomites” that turn pink at sunset. You will love the large mirror and appreciate the comfortable armchair. Room with king-size double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower.

Prestige Room

More than a room, a space to live in
Dedicated corners for reading and writing, to rediscover time for oneself. Marchesa’s Room – Dedicated to Marchesa Mastrilli, the great-grandmother of the current owners. This very bright room overlooks the inner courtyard. En-suite bathroom with shower.

Deluxe Room

History and contemporary comfort
Duke’s Room – Dedicated to Duke Luigi Giusso who, in 1822, transformed the former hermitage of Astapiana into a summer residence. This room offers a spa experience, thanks to the steam bath, in the comfort of your room. Morning light filters through the large window overlooking the olive grove. Two armchairs await you for wonderful readings, and a writing desk is ready for you to place your tablet and connect with the world. After an intense day, you can relax with a steam bath or immerse yourself in the 19th-century bathtub.

Junior Suite

The atmospheres of the Grand Tour
An immersion in the atmospheres of the 19th-century Grand Tour. All the furnishings in the suite are original to Villa Giusso, including the 19th-century wrought iron bed. A cozy sitting area where the crackling fireplace in the autumn months creates an atmosphere of bygone times.

Family Suite

Murat Suite
Dedicated to Joachim Murat, Marshal of the French Empire and King of Naples, who took refuge in Astapiana in 1815. It’s the perfect solution for families, with a spacious double room featuring a wrought iron canopy bed, a small hallway with access to the large bathroom with bathtub, and a second room with two single beds. These are the only rooms in the estate with a sea view.
